Value added and net financial expenses are part of the standard ratio calculation, which can be found on the Reports tab by selecting Ratios. The following formulas are used in calculating these indicators:


Value added indicates the increase in value that the company has generated through its operations. The more finished the product is when purchased, the smaller the value added typically becomes. The ratio Value added / Personnel expenses is a useful indicator especially for assessing the efficiency of industrial companies.

Net financial expense %

The net financial expense percentage describes the relationship between net financial expenses and revenue. Net financial expenses are defined as the difference between financial expenses and financial income:
